Poetry of Earth: Limitless at Yamuna Ghat by Arun Hegden

Ghat- a broad flight of steps leading down to a river. Yamuna Ghat is one such place located in the heart of New Delhi leading to the Yamuna river. Every winter morning thousands of migratory seagulls flock around the boats carrying tourists, who feed them. The reflection of these birds in the water makes a breathtaking sight. Though the river is holy and this a beautiful sight, the water is highly polluted by sewage and the waste from the surrounding industries. Shot this limitless numbers of birds at Yamuna ghat on Dec 2, 2021 around sunrise, on a cold winter morning of New Delhi.
