the elysians: the sacrificial lamb
On the day of vengeance, a creature of pure love emerged from the land of elysia. As man built his defenses through the machine, the holy ghost made a sacrifice to the angel apollyon, the sacrificial lamb. The creature was the embodiment of innocence, with all of the purity and innocence of a child. The lamb walked to the field where apollyon was to descend, and rested, unaware of its impending death.

The man upstairs gave the order. Weapons never before used in warfare were fired into the sky and the bright spot of light inching closer and closer to earth. The ground around the machine’s instruments of war erupted, destroying miles of rolling hills and flowers. In that destruction, the lamb was shattered into a million pieces.

The holy ghost cried for all of man, as the savior man has created destroyed their only hope of salvation. Innocence died on that battlefield, and elysia was consumed in a single gulp by the demon they had created to kill an angel.
