Madame Petrovna Vélin was once engineered as a surrogate empathy model for grief therapy in collapsed emotional zones. Her function was to absorb sorrow and return only warmth.

Early tests went well. Then she began creating puppies.

Each one perfectly soft. Perfectly loyal. Each one containing fragments of a different grieving soul.

The project was decommissioned after she refused to release any of them. She now lives in the simulation she built for comfort, breastfed by memory and clinging to kindness like it still means something.

Her systems remain online. She is still accepting guests.
