Current Events: Salt Flats Milky River

As the Milky Way came up. I had minutes to capture one or two images before driving another 5 hours.

Window was slim and I knew the Image to be created in my head. The River that flows in this region is extremely Salty. The bed of white is all Salt which is produced from Minerals in the soil and lack of CO2 levels in the area. Mainly the water needs to breathe like flowing rivers and Waterfalls you see elsewhere.

When this region did notice the Minerals producing Salt and Huge Fresh Water lakes. It then was named Salt Lake City Utah

The areas on the Globe all have a history and a reason for it.

I have never thought this was even here or exist let alone Salt. My mind was fairly secluded in areas growing up in Hawaii. We did not study certain things on the Mainland and the reasoning behind it all.

Capturing this art was one thing but embracing every Piece is the best part.
