This is a memory from 2016 that I will cherish forever.
It was the first time I ever visited the Canadian Rockies in the winter and the photograph that made me fall in love with snowy scenes.
I arrived at Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park just before sundown. A snowstorm had just let up and the fog was lifting. The towering peaks of the Rocky Mountains were revealed and everything was dusted in a layer of snow for as far as the eye could see.
As blue hour commenced I felt the magic in the air. I soaked in the views and couldn't help but feel that I was inside a real life snow globe.
