Freshly caught fish, Wagu Lake, Papua New Guinea.
Wagu Lake in Sepik province of PNG is an area of great beauty. Pristine forests and wetlands are home to a rich biodiversity. The area is under threat from logging, palm oil and other extraction interests. I'm involved with an NGO, documenting their conservation efforts while acknowledging and supporting the local communities in the area, the real stewards of the land.
