Nature's Storms: Last Breath by Mitch Healey

This was a storm chasers dream sunset

It was August 21st 2020 and I just started my journey to Manitoba Canada after forecast Models called for severe storms with the chance of a tornado or two.

This Storm was a Monster! 100 km/h winds with soft ball sized hail it was one serious storm!

This was tornado warned for almost 2 hours but it did not produce a tornado. What it did have was some of the most amazing storm structure I have ever witnessed!

After several hours chasing this Monster I decided to part ways and start my 9 hour drive home. I didn't make it far before I pulled over and saw one of the most amazing sunsets of my life!

As the sun was setting it lit up the back side of this amazing dying storm! The storm was taking it's Final Breath before disappearing into the night. It was really the perfect send off for a successful storm chase!
