Art Dolls: Bitty Betty Ballerina

Bitty Betty is a short little gal with stumpy legs, who dreams of being a ballerina. Bitty Betty is proof that it doesn’t matter how we look, we can do anything. Fashioned in a tutu with stripes and pearls, Bitty Betty is a Ballerina-ing Force to be reckoned with.

How they are Made

The head base is made from tin foil and paper clay, painted with acrylic and a light glaze medium. The hair is hand spun wool.

The body base is made up from the foam used for flower arranging, the legs are dowels, and the shoes are recycled toddler

Gigi is my IRL friend who took me for Forest Walks everyday while I wasn’t well in the psych ward due to having meth laced in my cannabis and intensive brain injury that presented like bi-polar.

I would not be where I am today with out this woman’s love. I want to give back to her the way she gave to me. I like when everyone wins !
