Monuments: The Broken Monument

The Broken Monument, 2022

Once reaching for the skies, spreading its torn wings and leaping up for liberty, now this lonely Monument is standing on the dark and smoke-filled horizon. Broken, abandoned and unrightfully mutilated. But while the years are just as unkind to it as the force that tried to destroy its beauty, the legacy of this Monument will not be lost to time. No matter how bent and broken those wings are, there is no doubt when the void of this world is ready, this Monument shall soar to the highest of highs – in complete freedom.
