grey rock two: Tiger Lily

Of the many plants and flowers both exotic and pedestrian the Tiger Lily is one of the few plants I can grow in my garden. Lilies are tall flowering plants grown from a bulb which can be split and shared. Our current Lily is from a close friend and flowers in white. This photo is of a more colorful Tiger Lily variety for its spotted petals.
