Once, Elu n’Ala went into celestial intercourse, the stars played various odima and udu, filling the heavens with ụda egwu, a most fearful/powerful tune that landed in all the sleeping worlds, giving life to still, dormant planets. EZE ELUIGWE, the Almighty God who inhabits the heaven above withdrew from the intercourse. Eze Nwanyi Ime Uwa, the Almighty Goddess who inhabits and holds the heaven from under Ala became pregnant and withdrew too from the celestial dance.
EZE ELUIGWE and EZE NWANYI IME ỤWA then looked deep into each other, one in adoration of the other. The stars danced, and planets erupted in joyful celebrations, sending forth thunderstorms, thunderflashes and playful earthquakes as Elu n’Ala spoke words of farewell, yet of most heavenly adieus.
