Chiron

Chiron, the wisest of centaurs, son of Cronos, most known teacher and healer of mythology. He was mortaly injured by mistake by the hero Heracles with a poisonous arrow, he had to suffer a great pain but could not free himself with death because of his immortality.

Chiron is a symbol of traumas, unhealable injuries, however he also represents the power of healing and break free from the chains of sorrow. Accepting suffering is part of life, overcome the pain is the key to ascend to a highest wisdom. We do find relief in helping others, the wound of life itself is our own, we are healing all together this primordial wound.

This artwork is a love letter to pain, to trauma, to my past and to everything that made me who I am today. It’s a symbol of resilience. This is a visual caress to all those who suffered, to all those who ever felt like they were forgotten in the abyss of pain.
