Mammon and Lotus: Destiny - The Ruler of the Beast

The predetermined sequence of events is referred to as destiny or fate.
Conventional notions of fate refer to a power or authority that decides and controls how events will unfold. In the ancient world, fate was commonly cited as the source of unanticipated and unavoidable occurrences in people's lives.
I regularly get the feeling that my entire existence was mapped out in advance. Before I got here, these doors were either open or closed, as if it didn't matter which way I turned.
But then I realized that the only fate I can accept is the one that, in the long run, takes us all.
On the very last day, I feel the heat of the sun as I look up. The horizon is emerald green. It smells like death, I swear. Then one last charge into the unknown. Memento mori my friends.
