DEVOUR III: INANITAS

Oil on canvas 12x16" (list price includes the physical)

Week 3 of DEVOUR - a year-long project of reading and responding by Rocketgirl.

This painting is an abstract reflection on the book 'Project Hail Mary (Andy Weir)

““Human beings have a remarkable ability to accept the abnormal and make it normal.”

• Andy Weir, Project Hail Mary

DEVOUR II: DELUSIO interprets the emotional residue of the book rather than its narrative - the heaviness, the hidden knowledge, the quiet rupture between past and present. The work offers a gesture toward the moment when understanding becomes unbearable yet brings profound clarity.
