Dream Journal: Night wind

Summer nights are brief. It’s like the sun touches the ground for a second, only to come back more fierce than before. But the night is not just a different time. It’s a different place, the one I preferred much more. Turning half ruined houses into castles and a tiny forest lake into a glowing ocean. And myself into a magician living in a tower between two worlds. Day world of busy sunlit streets, night world of leaves rustling in the wind. Highway sounds muffled and faraway, and when I lay in cool and still water I thought of them, of all the travelers going through the night, car lights shining in the darkness.
