DU-NFT: Interference Pattern

Loud Neighbor - Interference Pattern

Interference Pattern: an overall pattern that results when two or more waves interfere with each other, generally showing constructive and deconstructive interference.

Loud Neighbor is a gear based, techno live act from planet Earth formed by Christina Steel and Martín García Blaya that has been sequencing machines together throughout the Americas and Europe for 10 years and counting.

The simple, optical effect of intersecting lines creating the illusion of movement is what inspired the video collaboration with the Berlin based artist, Marmor. Loud Neighbor went to the studio with the intention to make this vision sound. Serendipitously Ernesto Romeo (Argentinean synthesist Jedi master) came into the picture along with his VCS3 & Sistemas Modulares Núcleo. That grey afternoon in Berlin, the core of Interference Pattern and Kosmonauten was captured in time.
