Sir William Lawrence Bragg is the youngest physicist to receive a Nobel Prize for the analysis of the crystal structure by means of X-Rays. This was the cornerstone of material science and crystallography. With the help of the Bragg’s law of X-Ray diffraction, it is possible to determine the distance between two atoms in a crystal, paving the way to the discoveries of materials we know today.
