Artist Note: Janine NYC ‘87. Digital 2D, JPEG | 4575x6193 pixels. 2022 When I think of NYC I think of hip hop. I listened to Nas’ Illmatic nonstop when working on these pieces. It had to be in the late 80s, in the PJs, have a court, huge boombox and graffiti! So these 2 pieces have a lot of crypto, NFT refs, all the stuff that have totally changed my career. You could say these are a huge remix of everything I love in this space, mixed up with my love for God, life and my family. Huge thanks to Josie and Pranksy for including me in these NFTBoxes! Also, thanks Ben for helping me get time to work on this :)
