Beautiful Japan Photography: Frozen in time

Izumozaki is a town in Niigata Prefecture, facing the Sea of Japan. The unique scenery of houses huddled together on both sides of the road is called "Tsumairi no machinami".

Many people visit the town to see this unique scenery, but on this day, there were no tourists due to the record-breaking snowfall. The empty streets seemed to be frozen in time, making me feel as if I had gone back in time. I could gaze at the beautiful, yet nostalgic and lonely scenery forever.
