When it comes to intelligence, humans often place themselves at the center.: intelligence is measured through the ability to perform cognitive tasks and the structuring of legible systems. Annicka Yi expands on this with the provocation that machines could have ''sensorial intelligence'' evolving independently from humans, in ways that transcend the notion of ''anti-human AI'' or the binary of dystopia-utopia. When I was working on this piece, I witnessed how the machine is programmed to render that which is legible; yet, when it's encountered with the amorphous, space for possibility opens.
