The rose represents love, how beautiful it can be, how that’s the part that really draws you in, and then you go to grab it and get pricked by it’s thorns which also represents love but how painful it is, just like a thorn to touch but we know they’re always going to be there, it’s apart of the rose. the rose being the good parts of love, it’ll always be something that may hurt you, it’s inevitable, but I think you need both to truly feel and understand love, and it’s beautiful as a whole.
