Resonance: Stillness

There is a stillness that settles on the land in winter. The blanket of snow envelops the slumbering landscape in a white shroud of silence. I walk through the forest in the last light of day. The long shadows of trees trail across the undulating waves of this frozen world. It is quiet, still, peaceful.
