Maneki Neko's World: Marzipansies

March: the month where bulbs wake from their underground slumber and poke through the ground to taste the winds that breathe new life into the skeletons of trees inspiring the budding of leaves and presenting us with glorious color overcoming the drab browns, greys and whites of winter. The confectionary saturations of Summer are still a few months away, but March gives us the firm promise that they are on their way.

This piece by Maneki Neko is part of a series of an open edition for each month of 2023. It was created through experimentation with the AI tool Stable Diffusion in multiple iterations of combinations of prompts and settings to produce hundreds of floral synthographs. The best of these images were curated and upscaled with Stable Diffusion to bring out even more details and finished with color and fine detail editing in Photoshop.
