Not far from the road to Diabaig, on the edge of Torridon in Scotland, the landscape is littered with erratic boulders deposited there during the last ice age. The make fantastic subject matter for any landscape photographer. The light here can be other worldly with the open sea directly west and I was fortunate on this occasion to witness this first hand. This boulder, split by the elements over millennia was perfectly illuminated against the backdrop of Beinn Damh.
