Warm Intuitions: A Whole Within

I was already a man with a void.
There was a hole in my being, so your arrows was not a disturbance. It didn't hurt; it couldn't hurt. There have been piercings before.

I chose you. I had my back to you in a delusion of safety, and now you have shown me it is me who must take care of me.

So the flames I carry will light a new path for me.
A path of self-forgiveness and acceptance.
To find and to heal.
To provide a filling to the hollow I’ve become.
To fight the battle that Confucius insists is the ultimate one.

And if the universe refuses me her blessing, I will still be.
