The Struggle

The Struggle: For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. (Ephesians 6:12)

This is the initial drawing in the series. However, in the chronological sequence of the story within the series—titled ‘The Cube’—it is the third drawing out of five works. The first two are ‘Flesh’ and ‘Lust,’ while the last two are ‘Salvation’ and ‘Creation.’

The Cube: As we journey through life in this world, we come to realize that many of its systems form a matrix of control—a matrix that seduces and spawns the darkest aspects of humanity, leading to ultimate destruction. However, if there exists a matrix of vileness, there must also be a real world with a perfect system that provides true purpose and freedom, creating the purest of individuals.
