This creation is my first foray into satirical art. This organized robotic demonstration symbolizes the growing tension between human dependency on technology and the disruptions it can sometimes cause in daily life.
The prominently placed billboard, which ironically advertises a solution to a common technological problem ("PC not starting properly?"), underscores the ubiquitous presence and often intrusive role of technology in modern society. The clown face on the screen adds a layer of dark humor, suggesting the absurdity and sometimes maddening nature of dealing with tech issues.
Through this piece, I aim to evoke a dialogue about our evolving relationship with technology, questioning whether we are in control or if we are becoming increasingly subordinate to the very machines we created. The unified stance of the robots serves as a powerful metaphor for collective human frustration and the desire for a more harmonious coexistence with our digital tools.
As with other artworks I have created, I once again explore Retrofuturism, blending both vintage and futuristic technology.
To create this piece, I used AI digital imaging technology, Photoshop, GarageBand, AI text-to-speech, and CapCut for an end result of a cinemagraph, a still image interspersed with video.
