Digital artwork derived from Solimán López’s interdisciplinary project Invisible Pegaso, which explores the relationship between space exploration and satellites, planetary memory, and the fragile ecosystems of high-altitude glaciers.
The video presents a sequence of evolving digital landscapes inspired by the glaciers of Chimborazo, the Ecuadorian volcano whose summit represents the closest point on Earth to outer space due to the planet’s equatorial bulge.
Within the conceptual framework of Invisible Pegaso, glaciers are understood as cryogenic archives—natural repositories containing ancient microorganisms, environmental traces, and planetary memory accumulated over millennia.
Each edition of this artwork includes:
• The video artwork, based on digital animations developed for the Invisible Pegaso project.
• The 3D digital model of Chimborazo, used as a central visual and conceptual element in the project’s artistic research.
• A signed artist certificate, confirming the authenticity of the work and its connection to the broader Invisible Pegaso research framework.
