S O L I M A N L O P E Z 1*1: Manifesto Terricola Serigraphy Edition 10/15

Manifesto Terricola is a groundbreaking artistic statement co-authored by artist SolimánLópez and an artificial intelligence system in 2022. Produced in the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, this work marks a historic moment: it is the first artistic manifesto in history to be co-created with AI from a posthuman, ecological, and speculative perspective—and the first ever to be stored in synthetic DNA, encapsulated in a bioprinted human ear made of collagen and embedded in a glacier as a poetic and material gesture in April 2023.At its core, Manifesto Terricola questions the boundaries between nature, technology, and consciousness. It defends a new kind of planetary art—an art that expands awareness, challenges anthropocentric narratives, and proposes new relationships between matter, language, and future memory. Manifesto Terricola is more than a statement—it’s a living archive of a time where artbecomes a tool for planetary care, synthetic memory, and re-enchantment. It invites us to reimagine the role of the artist in dialogue with machines, ecosystems, and the deep future.
