Landscape Stories: Sunrise at Shiprock

Shiprock is a stunning location in Nw New Mexico with a rich Native American history. We had driven by it on a previous trip, and I had been wanting to go back ever since then. On our next trip out west, we stayed the night in a town nearby so we could go for sunrise. We were treated to a magical sunrise with not a soul around. The morning air was chilly, the sun slowly started to rise over the horizon emulating the sky in beautiful pastel colors.
