The Dream World: Skepticism and Languor

The mysteries of cave paintings still leave numerous questions unanswered in our time. For many years, modern civilization had no knowledge of any objects of ancient art. Cave paintings and drawings became objects of great interest for scholars worldwide since their discovery in the 19th century. The depicted scenes of mystery provided an opportunity for humans to communicate with gods and spirits. They were an active part of rituals, where the content was more important than the form. Possible depictions of primitive maps or reminders to remember important myths. Hunting scenes could be schemes indicating the positions of bright constellations during significant events, possibly suggesting knowledge in the Stone Age about equinoxes and cosmic balance. The aspirations of our ancestors for harmony in the upper, middle, and lower worlds.

In this collection, characters, as well as sacred scenes and plots, come to life. The minimalism of black and white drawings pays homage to petroglyphs and serves as the key to understanding the material and subtle worlds of my Universe.
