Eli the Great: Of Good and Evil

Upon this scorched and broken, bloodlit land,
A beast of shadow, ancient, vast, and grim,
Looms o’er the ruins wrought by human hand,
Its coal-black eyes like sorrow’s endless brim.

The heavens blush with rust and whispered sin,
Two watchers meet: the creature and the man.
A line unseen divides without, within—
The rise of power, the fall since time began.

What pact, what price, what hunger forged this fate?
The birds wheel round in silence sharp and wide.
One soul stands small but heavy under weight,
His shadow stretched, his heart the place to hide.

For good and evil walk on common ground—
The choice, the curse, forever circling round.
