I remember when I was 6, everything seemed possible, I had no fears, no doubts, I thought about the future with so much certainty. I remember telling an older guy that I was going to own a bank when I grew up, he looked at me and laughed and said 'boy you can't own a bank, no individual owns a bank ' I told him I was going to own one anyways, he just laughed. Now I think back at that time with a smile, growing up does something to us, we begin to over rationalize, we get faced with what we call reality, then we fear, we stop believing. Or maybe we just realized that there is a huge gap between knowing and becoming, or maybe we just don't know what we think we know.. Now I am older, a man, 29years old, with a family, I don't own a bank and I don't know if I ever will.. I am an artist, I create, I am confused, I am just trying to survive, goodness!!! I would give everything to feel that fire I once felt as a child..
