After the first encounter, a few days passed by; it was not real. "It must have been a hallucination." Later that day, in the evening, he hears a low, eerie buzzing noise at a crater location where he was assigned to collect samples.
Neil gets goosebumps on the back of his neck. "NOT AGAIN," his heart begins to race. Neil yells as he sprints back to his moon buggy. He looks over his shoulder twice and sees nothing, but the buzzing noise grows louder and louder. "Is this it?" "Is this the end?"
When Neil looks over his shoulder one last time before arriving at the moon buggy, he suddenly stops and turns around. He finally sees a giant monster that must've been the height of a 3-story building. "I can't believe monsters are real." Neil is terrified yet can not help but stare at this entity.
His legs are walking towards it against his will somehow. He's trying to fight back but can't seem to overpower his legs. As he's getting closer and closer, he feels these intense vibrations in his body. A clicking noise starts coming out of the monster, getting intensely higher pitched; Neil's legs finally stop walking.
He looks down to see what happened; after looking down at his feet, the monster's clicking noise becomes incredibly high-pitched. Finally, Neil drops to his knees and covers his ears with his hands. "I can't take this anymore," he weeps, and Neil passes out.
