The person stood at the edge of a block, looking intently across the expanse to the other side. On one side stood a familiar block, with an understanding of all its nuances and crevices. It was a place he knew well, and though there were moments of creative roadblocks along the way, it was safe and comfortable. On the other side however was something entirely different. It was another block that promised opportunities yet unseen; it promised growth and new experiences but also came with uncertainty – risk was part of the equation here.
He looked back and forth for what felt like ages, feeling as if he should make a decision but unsure as to which option would be best for his future. He thought about all of the days he had spent on this same spot staring at this same dilemma, wondering if it would ever be possible to take that leap into something new or stay put in something known.
He knew that taking risks could lead him down paths that he’d never expected and provide him with experiences that could change his life for better or worse. But what if he stayed where he was? He knew his current situation but felt like it could use some changes in order to help him reach his goals faster or help him reach places he never expected to go.
The person continued to stand there and observe either options cautiously before realizing that both blocks had an equal chance at offering something great or something terrible: no matter which path he chose, there was always a risk involved but with each risk comes new knowledge gained. With this understanding firmly in hand, the person made their decision: they had to take a leap of faith without knowing what lay on the other side because only then could they experience all life has to offer them – no matter how scary or exciting it might be.
