Autumn Reflections on Crystal Lake

Fall in Colorado is absolutely magical and it's one of my favorite times of the year to visit. This was my first true Colorado fall colors experience being able to see it during the peak season. The San Juan's are my favorite area in Colorado. The Million Dollar Highway is one of the most stunning drives in the state and it's even more spectacular in the fall. Crystal Lake is one of the many stunning spots along the Million Dollar Highway and we ended up going to this lake three times. The reflections on this lake blew me away as I have never seen a more perfect reflection. I could have stood there for hours just admiring it. This was our first morning in the San Juan's and the fall air was chilly and the wind was calm making for a stunning reflection off of the lake. Somehow it wasn't crowded which made it even more perfect.
