Looking at digital manipulation through analogue glitches in the making of architecture. This work is 1 of 3, part of a triptych recording the glitch in 3D printing. The path of the printer is purposefully repositioned by manually altering the base of the machine, continually stopping the process to create endless versions that are left unfinished.
The artwork has been created to mark the process of production, aiming to capture a small part of the building process which will never be the same twice. Looking closely one can register the mix between capturing the physical process with the intended digital path of the machine.
