Standing on a hill top in Newfoundland, my feet stood on a spongy canopy of white moss and a blue sky above me. All I could hear was the wind in my ears. The horizon rolled with hills over hills.
In the calmness of the tundra forest I saw a large black raven fly through the blue sky. I could hear each stroke of his wings cut through the stillness of the mountain as he flew away. It's a memory I haven't forgotten years later.
Hand drawn animation of a raven. Made my Boycott, 2021.
