The Porter.

"The Porter" will be the last edition of my mini-series documenting public transport in Lagos.

What would an exploration of mass transit in Nigeria's largest city be without including the most popular means by which people get around; walking. Pictured is a market porter moving goods on foot, over relatively short distances, through one of Lagos' sprawling markets.

The yellow, VW minibus; danfo features in this photograph as it does throughout the series; testament to just how conspicuous they are across the mainland. This is the colour of Lagos, get to see and experience it through my lens.
