Body Jolt | From Ticapata to Cunurana, Peru

I made this piece in 2019 while conducting anthropological research in Peru in Aymara communities. While traveling on the chaotic roads of Peru, I used to take out my pen and let my hand slide across a sheet of paper to the rhythm of the shaking.

This work is the memory of a 55-minute bus ride on the chaotic road that connects Ticapata to Cunurana, on November 19, 2019, between 10:35 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
