Laughing Gandhi 3.0 is a part of my History Series, where I explore the construction of disparate narratives and clashes between these constructions as they come together in “the real world.”
This evokes feelings of alienation, juxtaposition and original significance to create parallels between cartoons and the flattened schizophrenic subjectivities in these paintings. My characters are layered memes and archetypes from history and popular culture.
