Athens is Burning

On July 2021 massive wildfires started torching the whole country of Greece. Fires even reached the city of Athens very closely at Varympompi and Parnitha. I had to ride my motorcycle at 4am onto a very steep hill on the opposite side of the fire to take this shot. It was pitch black and all i could see was what was illuminated by the headlights of my moto. Finally after riding and riding , i arrive to view this magnificent one in a lifetime experience. Fires. Burning everything. I was very sad and very impressed at the same moment. Feeling so small before the forces of nature. But so lucky to be able to be there and capture this moment.
