As I often say, watching the northern lights is a matter of moment. Being in the right place at the right time of course, but with the northern lights in the good direction when you want a certain composition. This is what happened that night in Senja. I chose a specific fjor according to the lack of wind to have a reflection, hoping the auroras would come in that direction. With its unique shape, this aurora is exactly what I was expecting. Taken in Senja, northern Norway, february 2019.
