This image was a transition moment in my creative process when I felt that 2D and Photoshop weren't enough. I created this image entirely in Photoshop, in 2D. After this image, I started using 3D software and learning how to create worlds in 3D.

This world I created here is our world and what it has become when the main character Zarya of my adventure woke up. It's an alternate version of New York City, where I live. This year my family had several big losses and the community in New York I volunteer with had a lot of hardships. I felt the weight and I wanted to express it. How I stand strong and keep going.
