Millennium (series) 2/19 “Other World”

No.2 of 19 in my mouse painted, “vintage” series - created between late 1999 and mid 2002.

“Outer World” - made in about November 1999 - conjures deep memories for me. I can see in this piece the building blocks of my burgeoning personal style, while the painting still has the hallmarks of my “colour palette limited” heritage creating art on Commodore Amiga’s and Atari ST’s back in the early 90’s.

Representative of a transitioning time for me, I recall wishing I could paint this sort of thing all day, every day! As this series advances, it will read like the unfurling narrative of my art style. 17 more to go.
