Reflecting in Yosemite

This is one of my all time favorite shots that I have captured. I first shot an image like this in February 2018. That version was a favorite of mine, but I always felt like something was missing. One brisk day nine months later in November, I was walking across Housekeeping Bridge when the conditions were perfect. The water had calmed down. A few clouds were in the sky, still illuminated by the sun after it's light had risen off the foreground. I love watching people's faces contort as they are trying to figure out what is going on in the picture. “How… are… there rocks in the sky?”
