Lady With An Ethereum

One of the most stunning works created by Raja Ravi Varma, the painting of a lady holding a lemon in her hand, was possibly the artist’s way of indicating her pregnancy. Her features, ethereally beautiful like many other women painted by Varma, set a royal standard of beauty.

My tribute to Raja Ravi Varma had to be in pixels because I wanted to break down his complex art into the most basic form of digital art. The replacement of the lemon by an Ethereum indicated the birth of a new art space and the excitement and joy it holds for the future.
