Cloud of 1001

There are 1001 portraits in this work. It took me almost a year to draw this piece. I drew each portrait by hand, one by one. But it felt like a therapy as i did all this under Covid quarantine. :)

According to Ray Kurzweil, (futurist of Google), in 2045 our brains will be uploaded to a cloud, where our memories, thoughts and emotions will be connected. And thus believing that we will attain immortality.

This work touches on the question of what would happen if there was a collective brain, a cloud, where all these people who were born and left their traces were together. The good ones and the bad ones...

The original high jpeg and signed printed version of the image will be sent to the collector.
