Trickster Dancers

Trickster Dancers was inspired by the Czech traditional costumes and axe dance that I gave my weird usual spin, of course. I was fascinated by the intricate details of the embroideries and multiple layers of beaded flowers to whom the axe dance came as a violent but amazing contrast.

When the illustration was finalised I collaborated with Costin Cretulescu for the animation and this piece graced the Odeon theatre building in downtown Bucharest as a videotaping project.
