Synaptic Transmission Series: C8H11NO2 - Synaptic Transmission Series

Creating a collection on neurotransmission was to highlight the misconception which creates a false dichotomy between the brain and the body.

I was inspired by Alan Jasanoff's new book, The Biological Mind, which explains this modern day “cerebral mystique” and ideals about the brain, which tend to treat it as an distinct and godly entity by ignoring that it's just a ball of flesh awash with fluids.

This means that our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and attitudes share a common chemical language and are constantly communicating with one another.

I just wanted this to be a tiny reminder on the idea that everything is fluid and constantly changing :)
